This is just a quick note for those promoting their art. If you haven’t done so already consider adding a Deviantart page. I added three brush packs over the past 3 days. My site generated 200 or so downloads. Deviantart generated 1300 during the same period. It makes sense to cross link your various blogs and sites to drive traffic through them and increase your visibility.
I'm a 49 year old family guy who returned to school in 2005 to pursue a childhood dream of becoming an artist and writer. The first half of my life, I worked in many other fields, but at heart I have always been a storyteller, a creator and a dreamer. In May of 2007 I got my first creative job working as a digital artist at Animax Entertainment.
